The presentation, prepared by firm associate Olympia Bowker, covered the anti-environmental initiatives of the Trump Administration, pending rule changes at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Supreme Court appointments, Executive Orders of the President, federal budget changes, Clean Power Plan, and court decisions on the doctrine of preemption of state and municipal powers and laws.
Other topics at the three-day meeting were Recreational Marijuana, Public Records Law, Employment Discrimination, Land Use and Zoning, Litigation and Appellate Practice, Constitutional Law, Amicus Brief Writing, and Court Cases and Appeals supported by MMLA.
