Mcgregor Legere & Stevens COVID-19 Plan and Protocol Featured

Written by

Dear Clients: We here at McGregor & Legere hope that you and your family are well. We are writing to assure you that our firm remains open for business, fully functional, and focused on your matter.

This includes our plan and protocols to continue advising and representing you regardless of whether we are at the office or working remotely, as may be required or necessary for a period of time to protect the health and safety of our lawyers, staff, and communities.

Our attorneys and staff all have had remote work capabilities, already set up and used regularly, so any transition to working more from home will not impact our work for you. Our home and office computers, equipment, cell phones, client files, and research tools are linked.

Whether working on your matter in our Boston offices or at home, we remain available to take your calls, answer your emails, communicate with others on your behalf, and make any necessary filings or submittals. You already know our practice of prompt responses to emails and phone messages.

By the way, we are monitoring the evolving situations in state and federal courthouses and agencies, town halls, and municipal boards and commissions. We stay on top of the closures, restrictions, advisories, and accommodations responsive to this unique challenge that we all face together. We are in networks of municipal, real estate, land use, and environmental attorneys.

Of course, you are welcome to call or email us any time concerning the status of your matter, and how it may be affected by any of the new federal or state Executive Orders, legislative changes, or agency or court policies. We are tracking the Town Hall closures, online services, emergency powers, and board and commission meetings and hearings.

We ask that you please inform us if your email or street address is likely to change.  Also, please reply to say, if you have not already, whether you would be willing (or even prefer) to have us to bill you by email rather than “snail mail”. In addition, please let us know if you would be willing to pay your bills electronically rather than by check. If so, we will follow up to discuss the best way for you to do so.

Thank you for your trust.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or email us.

Best,

Greg, Luke, Nathaniel, Mike and Libby
