
MICHAEL J. O'NEILL Esq. is an Associate of the firm. Mr. O'Neill has more than 25 years of experience in real estate and environmental law and related litigation, including environmental law permitting, land use and commercial litigation, and conveyancing.
Mr. O'Neill has tried and argued cases before all Massachusetts courts, including the Supreme Judicial Court, the Appeals Court, the Superior Court and all other divisions of the Massachusetts Trial Court; the United States District Courts for Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and West Virginia; the United States Bankruptcy Courts for Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the Vermont Supreme Court, the Pennsylvania Superior Court (an Appellate Court), and the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas. He is also experienced in arbitration and mediation.
Mr. O'Neill also has experience in representation before all local boards on land use applications and administrative appeal.
Mr. O'Neill's practice has concentrated on all aspects of land use law, representing both proponents and opponents of development applications. He is also experienced in all aspects of business law and business litigation. He was formerly corporate counsel for Great Northern Industries, Inc. and counsel to Atlas Tack Corporation, a Superfund site, in its environmental insurance and other environmental litigation.
Mr. O'Neill is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, and a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law.
